“I Lost on Jeopardy”
Wish me luck, boys and girls. I’m taking the online Jeopardy! test tonight. I’ve done it before, but I’ve never gotten past the test. You never know what your score was, so you can always say you missed it by one question )I think you have to get something like 35 out of 50 right). With the online test, they don’t even guarantee you’ll get called even if you pass. But I love Jeopardy! (even if I think Alex Trebek is kind of a pompous ass. . . gee, you think that might keep me from getting called?); I could never just be in the studio audience because I’d shout out the answers like I do at home. The best thing about the online test is that it literally takes about 10 minutes. And you can always say you only missed making the show by one question.
This song was obviously made before they brought the show back in the 80s. It’s a fun little exercise in nostalgia, now, but it’s also one of Weird Al’s better parodies. Look out for the cameo by Dr. Demento.
